The premium sweet iron material used on the port of this bit directly targets salivation stimulation points on the horse's tongue. The increased salivation stimulates the horse's mouth therefore making the horse more comfortable. We have designed this mouthpiece to be ported, double hinged, and rotating to provide a great level of comfort as well as control.

The bars of the mouthpiece are fixed between cheek pieces, however, the port is double hinged and rotates 360 degrees, making this bit ideal for horses that find it difficult to get comfortable with a bit in their mouth. This bit features a swivel port that allows for horizontal rotation, freeing the cheek piece to move independently. The main advantage of the swivel port piece is that the horse can set where it finds the mouthpiece most comfortable and, in turn, remove tongue pressure.
